In Memoriam Manuel Alegre RibeiroThe sad news reached us that our dear Portuguese friend and colleague Manuel C. Alegre Ribeiro has died on April 7th 2002. Mr. Alegre Ribeiro is well known to many of us as the coordinator of our memorable congress in Porto in 1998. Our thoughts are with his widow Ana Paula Carvalho and his relatives, whom I have communicated our sincerest condolences. AE
